Regular meetings of the Scobey City Council are held the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 708 1st Ave West. 

Special called meetings and public hearings are scheduled as needed and notice is given at that time. 

The City of Scobey is governed by a Mayor and City Council who are elected at large. The Mayor and City Council, acting together, are the governing body. 

All governing body members serve four-year terms. The governing body, being the elected representative of the people, adopts all ordinances and resolutions and determines the goals and policies.
